About us

 

Who are we? A group of Santa Cruz-based teens committed to protecting the city's natural resources. As a student-led organization, we work with local schools, nonprofits, and businesses to conserve the area's precious ecosystems and resources. We typically host beach clean-ups twice a month (for a full schedule of events, see our blog). What sets us apart from other local conservation groups? SCEA is entirely youth-run. We believe that teens have a responsibility to preserve, protect, and improve Santa Cruz. If you agree, volunteer today!
