SCEA Presents at POPS

We were excited to join young people from around the world at the Plastic Ocean Pollution Solutions International Youth Summit in Dana Point, CA last week!

There, Ruby Rorty (founder) and Kaiya McMurdo (artist-in-residence) presented our Trashtastic! curriculum for elementary school students. It was great to meet with dozens of other youth leaders on the issue and form meaningful relationships with groups like the Plastic Pollution Coalition, Big Blue & You, and the Algalita Foundation, and to participate in the workshops on campaign organization, plastic science, and more.
