NorCal Science Festival in Lodi

It was a pleasure to join Julie Fukunaga at the NorCal Science Fest in Lodi, CA! We worked with 100+ kids on our Trashtastic! art project, making lots of upcycled marine animals from plastic trash! While participants worked on the craft, we talked to them about the impact of pollution on marine ecosystems, and about how plastic in the food chain can end up on a dinner plate in landlocked Lodi. We hope to be back next year!
